Keith wont stop making shit
All day he’s asking “ are you gonna glaze these?”. I’m trying so hard but I cant keep up. He’s literally in the room throwing mugs right now and I have an underglaze deadline for 4pm because he wants to get a bisque fire going tonight.
Every form is either hand built or thrown on the wheel or some combination. I don’t slip cast anything so every object is completely unique.
All handmade by Keith Countryman and Leah Luten. Generally Keith is the one building the thing and Leah is the one painting/glazing it, but not always.

The marbled pattern of these mugs is made by placing clays of diffirent colors on the wheel and then throwing them together, the process swirls them up in beautiful natural patterns. Outside is unglazed and so feels smooth instead of glassy. This one features a dark turqoise glaze on the inside and handle, and holds about 24 oz.
